Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) in Wisconsin seeks a maintenance planner/scheduler to optimize factory uptime by coordinating proactive maintenance work and planning scope. The role requires evaluating work requests, prioritizing jobs, and coordinating with Production for high-priority execution.

Candidates should have 1-3 years scheduling experience, strong technical aptitude, and CMMS knowledge. ATS offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required in a technical field with 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and/or 5 – 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both
• Familiar with industrial manufacturing environment
• Electrical/mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and applications including Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships
• Desire to develop leadership attributesExperience in job plan development, job scheduling, and work execution
• Project management and capital project experience preferred
• Green Belt certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate non-emergency work requests and determine job requirements.
• Estimate labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials, equipment and tools for proactive jobs.
• Gather relevant technical documentation and verify parts availability; arrange special tools when needed.
• Maintain a prioritized work order backlog and determine next highest priority jobs.
• Employ continuous improvement to update Job Plans for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Conduct weekly planning & scheduling meetings with Production to set priorities.
• Create a Weekly Technician Schedule covering priority planned jobs and PM tasks.
• Improve planning and scheduling effectiveness through review processes and metrics.
• Maintain records essential to meaningful analysis and reporting.
• Train site employees on CMMS and ensure proper usage.
