Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an experienced maintenance technician in Pontiac, IL to perform expert break-fix and preventive maintenance, and to design improvements for complex equipment on production lines.

You will utilize predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and laser interferometry, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor junior technicians while upholding safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree with technical focus or 10+ years in industry preferred.
• Proficiency with predictive technologies (vibration analysis, laser interferometry) and maintenance of process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and design improvements for complex systems and support production lines.
• Lead CI activities and drive cost savings using CI tools and methodologies.
• Source parts and supplies; propose engineered solutions to improve reliability.
• Train and coach junior technicians; may assume project management responsibilities.
