Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance professional in Green Bay, WI. The role involves preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing PLC systems (Rockwell/Siemens) in a 12-hour rotating shift with weekend considerations.

You will work with AC/DC drives, motors, and instrumentation, while maintaining electrical distribution and ensuring safe, compliant operations. Atechnical background and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Electro/Mechanical Technology or Engineering.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience; willingness to pursue further education/certification.

Description

Position Overview

We are currently working a 12-hour, rotating shift schedule (typically Monday-Friday), with a block of 6 consecutive days off every 3-week cycle. Maintenance employees may be required to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to unscheduled maintenance issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC systems, including Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
- Work with AC and DC drives, motors, and industrial instrumentation.
- Maintain, repair, and support upgrades to the facility's electrical distribution and control systems.
- Perform general mechanical maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair of production equipment and facility systems.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Required: Associate Degree or Certificate in Electro/Mechanical Technology or Engineering Considered: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, willingness to continue education to obtain a certification/degree.
