Job summary

Iron Oak Energy Solutions in Kermit, TX is seeking a Maintenance Planner to oversee maintenance workflows, minimize downtime and maximize plant productivity. You will coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure timely, compliant work and efficient use of materials and labor.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel, CMMS, and documentation systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in industrial maintenance or technical roles required; planning/scheduling experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; highly organized.
Proficiency with computer systems to maintain records and reports; heavy Excel use.
Ability to read blueprints and machine drawings; write step-by-step maintenance procedures.
Valid driver’s license and ability to wear PPE including respirator.

Responsibilities

Act as liaison between maintenance and other operational stakeholders.
Identify maintenance needs and develop a comprehensive preventive plan.
Collaborate with department leads to determine work scope, duration, materials, and cost.
Coordinate with warehouse and procurement to source parts and pre-stage materials.
Ensure proper documentation, access to manuals, drawings, and spare parts lists.
Escalate issues outside maintenance scope to the Maintenance Manager.
Ensure CMMS, OpenInvoice, and SharePoint are used to track labor and materials.
