Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance/Mechanic responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery in the production environment. Role involves installing, adjusting, and repairing production equipment, and using a range of hand and power tools to keep machines running efficiently.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot PLCs; welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust and repair production equipment and special purpose machines.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks.
• Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss repairs with head mechanic for approval.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test for proper functioning.
