Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to oversee the upkeep of plant equipment and systems. You will perform repairs, adjustments, and installations to ensure continuous, safe production of coatings, with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least three years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong electrical background with PLC familiarity.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs to conveyors.
• Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs and adjustments to machinery and replace defective components.
• Operate shop tools and machines related to maintenance as skilled.
• Repair power industrial equipment and help rebuild related equipment.
• Assist in installation of new plant equipment.
• Maintain production equipment ensuring uptime for safe, timely manufacturing.
