Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate Degree or Diploma in Industrial Technology or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of five years successful work experience in the Industrial Maintenance field.
• Electrical, PLC, Automation, and Robotics experience preferred.
• Evidence of potential ability in instruction. Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Evidence of proficiency in oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach all phases of Industrial Maintenance Technology including rigging, fasteners and anchors, blueprint reading, lubrication, and machinery alignment.
• Manage rotation of students.
• Assist in recruitment and job placement of students.
• Must stay current in the field by engaging in professional development.
• Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual students’ progress.
• Maintain records and submit timely reports.
• Maintain good public relations with business and industry.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and professional behavior.
• Participate in facility maintenance.
