Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady.
• Previous relevant experience required.
• Familiarity with production machinery.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Possess strong computer and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stoop, bend, and crouch, and to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous Maintenance Mechanic Position in plastic pipe manufacturing.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial and production machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Rebuild and maintain electronics.
• Read mechanical prints and electrical diagrams.
• Electrical tasks - troubleshoot and replace AC & DC drives, temperature controls, Start/Stop electrical controls, PLCs, and electrical circuits.
• Read electrical, building, machine and flow diagram prints.
