Job summary
Saputo Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure safe operation and upkeep of dairy processing equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery, pumps, conveyors, and electrical systems, adhering to diagrams and manuals.
You’ll test repairs, fabricate parts, and support the Emergency Response Team while meeting GMP and safety standards. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 2+ years in dairy/food maintenance, with knowledge of AC/DC power,
Qualifications
- High School diploma plus 2+ years in industrial maintenance, dairy/food industry preferred.
- Hands-on troubleshooting ofElectrical and mechanical systems in a production setting.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and processing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain machinery, conveyors, pumps, and motors per specs.
- Diagnose malfunctions, disassemble and replace worn parts, test after repairs.
- Inspect for defects, weld/fabricate parts, and fabricate replacements as needed.
- Record repairs promptly and maintain GMP and safety practices.
- Operate with basic computer and PLC controls; support emergency response team.
