Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support dairy processing operations. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across packaging and utility equipment.

The role requires reading schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve reliability and uptime. Shift flexibility and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of industrial maintenance in food manufacturing or dairy processing.
Knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, motors.
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Basic computer skills and documentation of activities.
Strong communication skills and ability to work shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
Support production operations with various packaging and material handling lines.
Repair motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, VFDs, HMIs, PLCs, and sensors.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Read schematics, manuals, P&IDs, and drawings; document maintenance actions.
Install, align, maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, and production machinery.
Follow safety procedures including LOTO and hot work, keep records in SAP/CMMS.
