ConMet is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to handle on-shift equipment issues, perform diagnostic repairs, and log preventive maintenance in our production environment. You’ll also assist with material handling, staging, and loading to keep production running smoothly.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting experience, forklift certification, and strong problem-solving skills.
Picture your shift: you start by checking the preventive maintenance queue in our maintenance software, ensuring today’s top-priority equipment is ready to run. An alert comes in—an assembly fixture is down. You diagnose the issue, swap a sensor, verify the error-proofing, and record the repair. Between calls, you tidy the maintenance area, track spare parts, and coordinate a larger repair with leadership. Later, you jump on a forklift to stage materials to a work cell, clear finished goods, and help unload a truck so production never misses a beat.
We outline primary duties and scope here, but your impact isn’t limited to this list—everyone contributes where and when needed to ensure business success.
