Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to repair, maintain, and service our industrial machinery, plumbing, electrical systems, and facilities.

The role requires experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, ability to troubleshoot, work safely, and comply with ITAR and drug-free workplace policies. Compensation is $21–$27 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 -3 years’ experience repairing and/or maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical industrial equipment or related industrial machinery.
• Must be able to conceptualize, fabricate, and develop necessary equipment, and intricate systems.
• Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
• In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
• English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
• Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
• Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills/Mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Repair, upkeep, and maintenance of APP’s machinery, plumbing, electrical wiring, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as specified under supervision.
• Examine, adjust, repair, and maintain machines/equipment.
• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed by the department manager.
