Heat Treating Services (HTS), a family-owned leader established in 1978, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Pontiac, Michigan. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment as part of a stable, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of industrial maintenance experience.
• MIG and Arc Welding experience.
• Fabricating experience.
• Experience with pipefitting tools.
• Mechanical experience.
• Experience working with 480V 3-phase motor systems.

Responsibilities

• Repairing breakdowns as required with proper documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all maintenance per work order instructions.
• Complete Problem log sheets, Maintenance repair tags, and other required maintenance records
• If assigned complete daily “EQUIPMENT INSPECTION” to look for signs of possible failure, safety violations, or areas to be cleaned.
• Assist in training other Industrial Maintenance Mechanics and Operators on procedures and equipment operation.
• Preform lock out/tag out, confined space, and hot work permits as required.
