Job summary

North Coast Seafoods Corp. is seeking a Production Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, maintain and repair processing equipment in our seafood plants. The role reports to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager and requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, with a mechanical, electrical and plumbing background.

Packaging equipment experience is a plus. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, read maintenance documents, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance/line mechanics.
• Diverse background in mechanical, electrical and plumbing preferred.
• Experience with packaging and/or bagging equipment preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair processing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot machinery and perform preventative maintenance.
• Replace machine parts as needed and test equipment to specs.
• Maintain clean, safe workspaces and ensure safety standards.
• Operate and maintain packaging/bagging equipment when required.
• Read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
