Savage is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic at our Port Arthur, TX operation. You will repair, install, and maintain industrial and mobile equipment to reduce downtime, working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy equipment maintenance, welding/fabrication skills, and familiarity with CMMS. Safety-first mindset and ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Twic card and driver's license required or obtainable.
• OSHA safety aware and able to follow procedures.

Aufgaben

• Perform minor and major repairs on mobile heavy equipment, conveyors, tractors, and rotating equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and vehicles.
• Assist with other mechanical repairs around the facility when needed.
• Keep the shop clean and organized while helping maintain parts inventory.
• Learn and work with the Maintenance Supervisor to use the CMMS system for tracking repairs and maintenance.
• Follow proper safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
