Job summary

Commercial Metals LTD is seeking a maintenance professional to support our heavy industrial operations in Texas. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems, valves, pumps, and gearboxes, using SAP for work orders and preventive maintenance.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and experience with welding, fabrication, and equipment maintenance. You’ll work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• You must be able to stand, walk, bend and work in heights.
• Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years field experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to determine root cause.
• Use SAP maintenance module to execute work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Lead maintenance projects and coordinate with peers and contractors.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine work requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends.
