Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Asheboro, NC to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment such as conveyors and shredders. You will inspect mechanical and electrical systems and perform routine preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, welding, minor plumbing work, and maintaining maintenance records. A valid driver's license is required, and safety is a core expectation. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, digital multi-meters).
• Experience maintaining industrial equipment (shredders, conveyors, forklifts).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect and repair equipment and mechanical/electrical systems on shredders, conveyors and heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of components and systems; assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry as needed.
• Weld and fabricate to repair or build secondary equipment.
• Replace lighting, bulbs, fans, basic plumbing as required.
• Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records.
