Job summary

Reworld is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for on-site duties at the Asheboro, NC location. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel and gasoline engine-driven heavy trucks, construction equipment, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Work is performed on-site at Asheboro Carl Road.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in plant or heavy equipment maintenance, with at least 1 year in diesel mechanics, and a valid driver’s license. CDL A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of plant or heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year in a diesel mechanical role.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL Class A preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; or 5 years verifiable maintenance experience.
• Ability to read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators and digital multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, build, rebuild, and repair all parts of equipment, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic systems, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Welding and fabricating to repair and build trucks and secondary equipment.
• Complete equipment maintenance records.
• Perform repairs, including emergency repairs in the field.
• Conduct service road calls.
• Order supplies and parts.
