Flynn Shop- Manufacturing in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to ensure reliable, safe operation of industrial machines by performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment including CNC machines, press brakes, punches, shearing machines, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience repairing CNC machines, presses, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications.
• Manual dexterity and skilled use of power and hand tools.
• Reliable, independent worker with a strong work ethic.
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft applications).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNCs, press brakes, punches, and folding machines.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
• Repair and upkeep of motors, pumps, valves and control systems.
• Source parts and services to maintain shop equipment.
• Attend daily shop operations meetings to align priorities and schedules with all departments.
• Ensure documentation of maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Maintain 5S standards for maintenance.
• Manage relationships with external machine vendors and service providers.
• Comply with Flynn Health and Safety Standards.
• Report misuse of tools and company property.
