Job summary

West Liberty Foods is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Tremonton, UT on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on maintaining production machinery, troubleshooting automated equipment, and reading mechanical/electrical diagrams to keep lines running efficiently.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting PLCs/automation, installing pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and following safety and CMMS procedures.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets mechanical and electrical diagrams and technical repair manuals.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a mechanical field in an industrial setting preferred.
• English reading/writing required; basic maintenance manuals comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily preventative maintenance and routine tasks.
• Read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair automated equipment.
• Install pneumatic and hydraulic systems and control valves.
• Ensure safety precautions and occupational health standards are followed.
• Operate lifts and material handling tools and inspect machinery.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and CMMS data entry.
• Assist with maintaining and repairing conveyors and PLC controls.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and assist as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
