Job summary

West Liberty Foods is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Tremonton, UT, on a 2nd shift. The role maintains and repairs production machinery, including automated equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Qualified candidates will have experience with PLCs, pneumatics, and reading schematics, plus strong computer skills. A 2-year mechanical background and an associate degree are preferred. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Experience working on automated equipment such as PLCs and vision systems.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical prints and schematics.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience in manufacturing.
• Preferred education includes an associate degree or equivalent and CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams and repair manuals.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot automated equipment and PLCs.
• Install pneumatic and hydraulic systems and control valves as needed.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with safety policies.
