Job summary

Ferrero is seeking a Mechanic Millwright in Illinois to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex packaging and manufacturing equipment. The role requires reading blueprints and diagrams, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and following safety and GMP guidelines.

The position emphasizes collaboration with production teams, implementing root-cause analyses, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure asset reliability and safety at Ferrero's facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a 2-year technical maintenance degree or related field, or journeyman certification.
• Experience with diagnosing, repairing, and replacing defective parts and adjusting machinery.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, diagrams and manuals to troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair high-speed packaging machinery and other equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to diagnose problems.
• Execute PMs and work orders in SAP CMMS.
• Install new equipment and train staff on maintenance best practices.
• Lead root-cause analysis and TPM initiatives.
