Job summary

MAC Incorporated is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Livermore, California. The role operates on a 4AM-12:30PM shift with a 0.25 shift differential and occasional Saturday work. Pay ranges from $34-$44 hourly, with PTO accruing each pay period.

The technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, document repairs in Manager Plus, and communicate issues to the maintenance manager to improve machine reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment following all processes and procedures.
• Maintain repair records using Manager Plus and track trends.
• Analyze trends and recommend actions to improve reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Complies with Safety, EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Servicing and maintaining motors, conveyors, PLCs, and related equipment.
• Tracks repairs in Manager Plus and identifies recurring issues for maintenance.
• Conducts daily visual inspections of building, grounds, equipment, and projects.
• Collaborates with plant supervisors to improve reliability and uptime.
• Coordinates with operations on repair schedules and potential production delays.
• Fabricates parts as needed for repairs.
• Follows Total Preventative Maintenance guidelines.

Position Role Summary

The role of maintenance technician is to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment following all processes and procedures, communicating potential and immediate issues to the maintenance manager. This individual also maintains records of repairs through Manager Plus, analyzes trends and makes recommendations to increase machine reliability and uptime.

Key Essential Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Complies with all Safety processes and procedures, EPA and OSHA regulations
• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyors, PLC, and all other equipment
• Tracks all repairs in manager plus, identifying any reoccurring themes and making recommendations for repairs to maintenance manager
• Does daily visual inspections of building, grounds, equipment, and projects in process
• Works with plant supervisors to increase reliability and uptime on equipment
• Consults and coordinates with operations on repair schedules and any production delays that could happen
• Fabricates parts as needed for repairs
• Follows Total Preventative Maintenance guidelines
