Gopher Resource, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for the 6pm–6am night shift with a rotating 4 on/4 off schedule. New hires start on the Monday–Friday day shift for training before joining their regular shift.

You will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment, using hand tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring devices. A $10,000 signing bonus and $45.38/hour base pay (plus $0.80 night differential) are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Heavy industrial experience in welding/fabrication; hydraulics; pneumatics; blueprint or schematic reading; PdM/PM; pumps; mechanical drives; and material handling equipment.
• Passing pre-employment testing: background check, drug screen, and clinic physical.
• Ability to read safety instructions, understand work directions, and document accordingly.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - $45.38/hr +$10,000 SIGNING BONUS

We have 2 openings for Industrial Maintenance Mechanic on the 6pm-6am shift and rotating 4 on/4 off schedule. All new hires initially start on the Monday-Friday day shift to participate in New Hire Training. Following this training period, mechanics are assigned to their regular work schedule.

Job Overview

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, repair and preform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery. This position uses hand tools, welding equipment, pneumatic and/or electric tools and precision measuring tools to make repairs or replace equipment. Equipment repairs/replacements include but are not limited to pumps, fans, gearboxes, piping, fabrication, conveyors, and large rotating equipment. All offers are contingent upon subsequent pre-employment testing that includes background check, drug screen, and clinic physical.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Heavy industrial experience in the following: welding/fabrication; hydraulics; pneumatics; blueprint OR schematic reading; predictive maintenance (PdM) and preventative maintenance (PM); pumps; mechanical drives; and material handling equipment
• Passing of all pre-employment testing which includes:
  • Mechanical efficiency test
  • Criminal background check
  • Employment and academic verifications
  • Drug screen &physical
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to perform essential job duties such as reading safety instructions, understanding work directions, and completing required documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Required to wear respiratory protection up to 12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Required to be able to move about the plant, including climbing a flight of stairs, up to 12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to work in a hot production area wearing protective clothing, up to 12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation
