Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and adjustments.
• Fabricate parts as needed to support machinery functionality.
• Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Related working experience and ability to perform a function with minimal supervision.
• Team player with a commitment to excellence and a drive for innovation.
• Skilled in electrical, plumbing, hydraulic systems, forklift repair, and driving skills. CNC machine troubleshooting, PM’s. Minor HVAC troubleshooting and repair.
• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Perform parts breakdowns and follow directions.
• Help with the execution of various maintenance projects that consist of new installations or facilities maintenance.
• This position supports entire facility & machines (mill & sheet metal plant). Assist the janitorial crew as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems is .
• Familiarity with high voltage systems is a plus.
• Experience with stick welding techniques is advantageous.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments for diagnostics and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
