Job description

Job Purpose:

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for:

• Ensuring safety and health of self and team working in the surrounding area. Participating in all safety activities.
• Supporting and maintaining ISO 9001 activities and ensuring that required processes are maintained.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, fabricating, and installing machines, tools, and equipment.
• Maintaining facility, grounds, and utility systems.
• Working with management to maintain waste water and other facility systems, ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Implementing preventative maintenance programs on parts inventory, machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment according to diagrams, sketches, manuals, and specifications.
• Performing other duties as requested.

Job Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in mechanical, troubleshooting, and electrical tasks in manufacturing.
• Effective communication skills, with ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, diagrams, and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence, and communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
• Basic math skills, including calculations, algebra, and geometry.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate office machines and write routine emails.
