Industrial Maintenance Technician

Shift/Hours:

Weeknights:

• 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
• Monday - Wednesday one week and Monday - Thursday the next week.

Weekend Nights:

• 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
• Thursday - Sunday one week and Friday - Sunday the next week.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT

Pay Rate: $34-$36/hour
Location: Canton, GA
Experience: 5 years’ experience with welding/fabricating and industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems.
• Perform fabrication, welding, torch cutting, light carpentry duties and other maintenance functions as required.
• Install, maintain, repair or rebuild complicated machine tools and special purpose machines.
• Disassemble problem equipment and determine extent of repairs necessary; repair, refit, or replace worn or defective parts.

Preferred Skills include:

• 5 years’ experience as a heavy industrial millwright and/or maintenance mechanical technician.
• 5 years’ experience as a welding/fabricating technician skilled in SMAW, MIG, and TIG.

Requirements include:

• Perform all required maintenance of heavy machinery, as well as building maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pneumatic circuits, as well as the ability to read and comprehend mechanical blueprints and schematics.
• Weld and fabricate.
