About The Role

The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for the care, maintenance, and continued operability of the facility and all associated equipment in accordance with quality specifications, federal guidelines, and company policies.

Accountabilities

The ideal candidate will have field experience working in a mechanical capacity, preferably in manufacturing or food manufacturing. Candidates must be coachable and willing to learn new skills. The role involves working with moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. This role works PM shift from 6PM-6AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year technical college/associate’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years working in a mechanical capacity; manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of food processing equipment preferred
• Electrical, mechanical, PLC programming, and robotics experience preferred
• Experience with variable speed drives, servo controls, process controllers preferred
• Basic metalworking, TIG welding, metal fabrication skills preferred
• Experience with lathes, mills, shears, brakes, and iron workers a plus
