Job summary

CHEP Plant Careers in Pendergrass, Georgia seeks a Plant Manager to lead total plant operations, drive safety, quality, and cost performance, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will own the plant P&L, manage a diverse team of hourly and salaried staff, and implement Lean/CI practices to optimize efficiency.

The role requires 7–10 years of leadership in manufacturing/logistics, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of plant leadership experience in manufacturing/logistics/industrial ops.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven ownership of site performance metrics and safety outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Oversee equipment reliability and site operations for continuity.
• Drive Lean/CI and continuous improvement to improve safety, quality, and cost.
• Manage labor, capacity, and talent development within the site.
• Deliver KPIs: safety, quality, DIFOT, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal functions to translate network priorities into plant execution.
