Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a capable general laborer to support operations at industrial facilities in Kentucky. The role emphasizes equipment operation, scrap disposal, groundskeeping, and helping during high-absence periods.

You will operate industrial trucks and cranes, manage waste disposal, maintain grounds, and assist the maintenance team with manual tasks. The position requires physical stamina and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Ability to wear safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, safety-toe shoes, and a dust mask.
• Constant use of hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects (up to 60 lbs).
• Physical agility: climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and moving materials.
• Standing for 8 or more hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial trucks and overhead cranes to load and move industrial materials (steel and aluminum).
• Break down, scrap, and dispose of damaged ladders, wood, metal, pallets, and crates; transport waste to dumpsters.
• Maintain outdoor grounds and property appearance.
• Fill in for other positions during periods of high absenteeism.
• Assist maintenance team with manual labor on various projects.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and locker rooms, restocking soap dispensers and toilet paper.
