Job summary

Tetra Pak in Denton, Texas seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliability and efficiency of plant equipment. You will lead preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement repairs to minimize downtime in a high-volume facility.

On-site role with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement. Located at our Denton manufacturing site, this role collaborates across operations to optimize asset performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of maintenance engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus.
• Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance and RCM principles.
• Experience with PLCs and troubleshooting; Siemens platform preferred.
• Proficiency with CMMS and data-driven maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
• Monitor performance and identify improvements, proposing upgrades or modifications.
• Coordinate installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Lead maintenance projects with cross-functional teams and ensure safety compliance.
• Develop maintenance procedures, schedules, and checklists for regulatory and productivity needs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and drive reliability improvements.
• Source spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.
• Mentor staff on maintenance procedures and best practices.
