Job summary
The Division Laundry Houston is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility equipment in a demanding industrial laundry environment. This role performs preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
Strong safety focus and attention to detail are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification is a 1st or 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer License.
- Experience in industrial maintenance and reading schematics.
- Knowledge of LOTO and OSHA safety requirements.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and keep records.
- Install, inspect, and maintain motors, controls, instrumentation.
- Follow safety policies and work extended hours when needed.
