Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement on automotive production lines. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams, use SAP/MES systems, and support robot and PLC-based equipment.

Strong hands-on experience with troubleshooting, SAP, MES, and Yaskawa/Siemens automation is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering is required.
3+ years of experience with manufacturing maintenance is required.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement TPM processes.
Create and manage maintenance activities in SAP.
Design and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Perform regular inspections, lubrication, calibration, and adjustments on machinery and equipment.
Identify potential issues and conduct proactive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
Analyze downtime logs and develop plans to reduce MTTR and MTBF.
Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
Provide temporary and permanent solutions to the technician team to minimize downtime.
Oversee maintenance across three types of production lines.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize processes.
