ContiTech is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting production operations at our facility in Kansas.

You will diagnose electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, install and repair wiring, motors, sensors, and drive systems, and read schematics and manuals.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues involving production machinery, motors, controls, and industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduit, motors, sensors, switches, relays, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot motor controls, three-phase power systems, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Assist with electrical installations, equipment upgrades, and capital projects.
• New machinery control panel assembly.
• Identify recurring electrical problems and recommend solutions to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Support troubleshooting of automated equipment and PLC-controlled systems.
• Follow all electrical safety requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment issues and repair needs with the maintenance team.
• Work with production, engineering, and other maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations.
• Oversee and maintain stock for shop electrical supplies.
