Job summary

Ring Containers Ltd. Indianapolis seeks a Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair its electrical systems and building infrastructure.

You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance while applying electrical, mechanical, and processing skills on industrial equipment. The role requires interpreting drawings, wiring layouts, and electrical codes, with responsibilities spanning installation, testing, and calibration of control systems and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associates degree in electrical related field.
• Other technical certifications and training applicable to industrial maintenance electrical system.
• Minimum of four-five years industrial maintenance electrician experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and GMP practices for area, policies, and procedures.
• Read drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to plan installations.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair wiring, conduits, and electrical components.
• Test continuity, current, voltage, and resistance of electrical/electronic equipment.
• Maintain, repair, test, and install switchgear, transformers, and motors.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, HMI, and distributed control systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep records.
• Assist and train production employees in operation and maintenance of machinery.
