Job summary

PDS Tech | Industrial Manufacturing in Sealy, TX is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work on three-phase motors, control circuits, and schematics to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

We seek candidates with at least 2 years of industrial electrical experience, familiarity with NEC and NFPA 70E standards, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Must have worked as an Electrician within the past 18 months.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of three-phase motors and electrical systems.
• Read electrical blueprints, schematics, and revisions.
• Basic math for electrical calculations.
• Proficient with electrical hand tools, meters, and testing equipment.
• Able to operate forklifts and related equipment.
• Safety-first mindset with team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, control circuits, contactors, and relays.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipment down to component level.
• Work with three-phase motors, electrical controls, and production equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Use multimeters, meggers, and testing equipment to diagnose issues.
• Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and modifications with vendors and teams.
• Maintain spare electrical parts and assist with parts lists and estimates.
• Mentor maintenance mechanics and promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Follow NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local safety requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, control circuits, contactors, and relays.

• Take an active role in workplace safety, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance programs.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Must have worked as an Electrician within the past 18 months.
• Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of three-phase motors, electrical systems, and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and revisions.
• Basic math skills for electrical calculations.
• Proficiency with electrical hand tools, meters, and testing equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and vehicles.
• A safety-first mindset, strong troubleshooting skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Certifications: ISA, PAE, HVAC, MSHA, HV, OSHA, INPO, PLC, or ARC-related certifications. These are preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance or mechanical aid.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during 8–12-hour shifts.
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach overhead, and work in confined or awkward positions.
• Use hands and fingers with precision when handling electrical components and equipment.
• Push and pull carts, pallets, and other heavy components as needed.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
