Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to maintain and repair production equipment. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and operate a CMMS to document activities.

This role requires reading technical documents, working with hydraulics and pneumatics, and lifting up to 65 lbs in a manufacturing setting. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED; technical

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational school certification preferred.
• Ability to read safety procedures and maintenance instructions.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electrical principles.
• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred.
• Lifting up to 65 lbs and physical endurance; PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrections.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines at peak performance.
• Operate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids and replace worn parts as needed.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts using tools and hoists.
• Review blueprints and repair manuals to perform tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, or change parts as assigned.
