Job summary

HRU-Tech in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an experienced Machine Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will read and interpret mechanical drawings and assemble industrial machinery to specification, traveling about 20% domestically and internationally as required.

You will work closely with the Machine Build Lead to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with ISO and company quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related vocational or technical education preferred.
• Previous machine building or assembly experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial equipment according to drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret part/assembly drawings with intermediate proficiency.
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Document build issues and communicate changes to the lead.
• Support customer-site installations and project milestones as needed.
