Qualifications

• 2+ years in machine building or related mechanical field.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic components preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom industrial machinery using drawings and instructions.
• Install components such as bearings, shafts, gearboxes, motors, and guides.
• Perform alignment, fitting, and adjustment for proper operation.
• Read blueprints and BOMs to verify parts and specs.
• Use precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and recommend solutions.
• Assist with testing, startup, and final inspections before shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet schedules.
