Job summary

Viaflex, Inc. is hiring a Machine Technician to set up, monitor, and repair production equipment. You will troubleshoot, modify tooling, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with new machine installations.

Strong electrical/mechanical skills, ability to read schematics, and welding knowledge are valued. Experience with AutoCAD and hands-on fabrication supports the role. The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives within a team

Qualifications

• Associate degree in field related to position; 2+ years experience preferred.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical skills with ability to read schematics.
• Experience with hand tools, precision measuring, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting and repair on machines.
• Designs or modifies equipment, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machines and maintains records.
• Assists with installation of new machines and equipment.
• Maintains documentation on machines and equipment.
• Orders parts through internal procedures or external sources.
• May perform metal fabrication (cutting, grinding, welding).
• Supports production improvement initiatives.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area per OSHA standards.
