Job summary

Viaflex, Inc. is seeking a Machine Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in our facility. The role involves reading schematics, wiring and mechanical work, and collaborating with the maintenance team to keep lines running smoothly.

In this position, you will support installation of new machines, maintain meticulous records, and participate in process improvements while adhering to safety standards and ISO-related quality practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to read schematics and interpret equipment manuals.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Proficiency with a computer; AutoCAD helpful.
• Team player who works with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and efficiently.
• Basic math skills.
• Effective communication with team and leadership.
• Welding knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting and repair on machines.
• Designs or modifies equipment, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machines and maintains records.
• Assists with installation of new machines and equipment.
• Maintains documentation on machines and equipment.
• Orders parts through internal procedures or external sources.
• May perform metal fabrication (cutting, grinding, welding).
• Demonstrates the Viaflex Team Member Values in daily actions.
• Participates in production improvement initiatives.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
