Job summary

Commercial Metals LTD (CMC) is seeking a fabrication laborer at our Mesa, AZ facility. You will learn equipment, operate production machines, assist in loading and unloading, and help maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced industrial setting.

We offer Day 1 benefits, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities to cross-train on multiple machines. You should have a strong work ethic, be able to lift 50 lbs, work overtime, and perform well in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions, including heat and cold.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks.
• Willingness to cross-train and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to read technical documents and service manuals.
• Strong teamwork and safe working habits.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Crosstrain on multiple machines
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.
