Job summary

Prospect Rock Partners, a premier global financial advisory firm, seeks an exceptional Associate-VP 1 to join its Industrials investment banking team in New York City. You will gain immediate client exposure, handle analytical and execution responsibilities, and have a clear path to Vice President within a lean deal team.

The role offers an entrepreneurial learning environment, mentoring from senior bankers, and direct interaction with CEOs, CFOs, and boards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of investment banking experience at Associate level.
• M&A deal experience and transaction leadership preferred.
• Strong Industrials sector knowledge across Capital Goods, Transportation, Automotive, Business Services, Chemicals, Building Products, Packaging, or Aerospace & Defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform sophisticated financial analyses and create complex valuation models.
• Lead financial modeling across various transaction structures and strategic scenarios.
• Conduct research on relevant companies, competitors, and sector dynamics.
• Manage workstreams within deal processes from mandate through closing.
• Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisory partners.
• Prepare and present client materials and interface with senior executives.
