Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking an Industrial Account Manager to grow sales of electrical/lighting supplies to industrial, government, institutional and OEM customers. You will manage a base of accounts, call on end users, and drive lighting projects while developing new relationships.

The role focuses on profitability, pricing strategy, and coordination with suppliers. A strong customer service background and 2–5 years of sales experience are preferred.

• Experience with electrical/lighting supplies.
• 2–5 years of sales experience.
• Customer service background.

Responsibilities

• Calling on industrial, government, institutional and OEM customers as well as driving lighting projects.
• Manage the sales of products and services to account base.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Regular end user joint calls with suppliers.
• Develop sales leads.
• Develop customer pricing strategy that enhances profitability.
• Quote prices and credit terms.
• Coordinate customer training.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues.
• Attend trade shows and meetings.
• Attend training as required by Capital Electric.
• Other duties as required.
