Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an LDAR Technician to join our safety-conscious team at a customer site in Roxana, IL. The role involves identifying, documenting, and tagging fugitive emissions from industrial components, using TVAs, FID, and OGI cameras to monitor and report leaks for refineries and chemical plants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Confined space entry & 40 Hour OSHA training preferred.
• TWIC card required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of DOT/EPA waste codes and LDR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of valves, connectors, pumps, and tanks to detect VOC leaks.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers (FID, TVAs, OGI cameras).
• Tag leaking components and document results in databases like LeakDAS/GuideWare/SkyBridge.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Work shifts including weekends and holidays; travel to remote sites as needed.
