Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a team member for the industrial laundry facility in Boston, MA. You will work with a team to safely and efficiently handle merchandise into and out of the plant, ensuring accuracy and timeliness on the wash floor.

Responsibilities include preparing slings, verifying items, and recording damages, with duties performed in a warehouse environment. The shift runs 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to understand and follow training, written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily slings or carts for the wash floor.
• Verify merchandise type and quantity on the card and group items accordingly.
• Record counts and totals for ruined or damaged merchandise on the card.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
