Colonial Group is seeking an industrial laundry operator to work as part of a team in a warehouse setting in Lincoln, NE. The role emphasizes safe, expeditious handling of merchandise and strict adherence to batch tickets and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, recording ticket data, ensuring correct moisture and temperature levels, and maintaining equipment safety. The shift runs 11:30am–8:00pm, with overtime as needed, in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Check all machine safety devices before operating equipment and record the safety form.
• Retrieve sling from storage and load washer/dryer, ensuring correct batch handling and ticket verification.
• Position and load washers/dryers, select formulas, and start equipment.
• Record batch ticket details on the machine display and related forms.
• Enter weight data into SOFTROL for washers and manage sling transport to staging areas.
• Unload washers and dryers, ensuring proper moisture levels and temp, and organize batches.
• Identify rips or tears in slings and remove damaged items from the system.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
