Job summary

Colonial Group in Canton, NC is seeking a Warehouse Handler for an industrial laundry facility. You will work as part of a team to safely and accurately process merchandise into and out of the wash area.

Responsibilities include preparing daily slings, verifying item counts on PUC cards, recording damaged merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training and instructions.
• Warehouse environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
• Verifies merchandise type and quantity on PUC card; segregates like items together in a sling.
• Identifies counts, and totals ruin or damaged merchandise and records on the PUC card.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
