Job summary

Colonial Group in Peoria, IL operates an industrial laundry facility where you will join a team to safely and accurately handle merchandise in and out of the plant. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, loading carts, moving boxes, stocking supplies, operating a forklift when needed, and helping maintain a clean, safe work area.

The shift is 4:30am–1:00pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of sewing equipment and thermo-patching equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment, water and lint traps, performs blows down ironer, dryer, and tunnel.
• Loads carts, moves boxes, stocks supplies, and maintains areas of the plant.
• Operates forklift if necessary.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and follows best practices in production.
• Other duties as assigned.
