Job summary

Vestis Corporation in Cincinnati, OH seeks a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance in our industrial laundry facility. You will work with high-volume washers and dryers, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues, and help keep equipment safe and productive.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 3–5 years of maintenance experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or in a team on a shift that runs 9am–5:30pm,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years’ maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with maintenance procedures and safety techniques.
• Experience with industrial laundry equipment and required codes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication skills; adaptable to shift work and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment including high-volume washers and dryers.
• Repair or replace equipment; perform basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical work.
• Troubleshoot issues using manuals and schematics.
• Order parts and tools per procurement policy.
• Maintain daily equipment maintenance schedule and records.
• Handle waste solids from treatment process daily.
• Perform maintenance on wastewater hardware and housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; follow safety policies.
• Adhere to lock-out tag-out procedures and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
